Upgrade a Strat-style guitar with a solderless wiring harness designed for convenient installation, reliable connections, and easier future component swaps. Choose Blender or Standard (EJ Mod) wiring to suit your preferred control layout.
Built with USA-branded components, the harness includes a USA-made CRL 5-way switch, CTS potentiometers with Mojotone-spec vintage taper, solid brass bushings, and a prewired Switchcraft mono jack. A Mojotone Dijon tin-foil capacitor (.047uF) is included for guitar and bass tone controls. An optional treble bleed helps preserve high-end detail as you roll back the volume. Screwdriver, wiring diagram, and instructions are included.
Blender wiring uses the bottom knob to blend in the neck or bridge pickup, allowing all three pickups to be combined. With the Blender control on 10, the five switch positions select bridge, bridge and middle, middle, middle and neck, and neck. Turning it to 0 blends in the opposite pickup at the bridge and neck positions.
Standard wiring provides master volume, neck tone, and bridge tone, with no tone control on the middle pickup. This reduces the load in switch positions 2 and 4 for a more open sound. The five switch positions select bridge, bridge and middle, middle, middle and neck, and neck.
