Remove old strings, re-string, tune and light cleaning of fingerboard.

Restring Service for instruments with six or fewer strings.  Strings are not included in the service price.  Classical guitar, 12-string & Floyd Rose type restrings are extra.

Remove old strings, clean & condition fretboard and polish frets, tighten loose tuners and hardware, stretch strings, tune to pitch and polish guitar.

Turnaround time for re-string service is next-day unless otherwise specified.  New strings need stretching & settling-in time, that’s why we like to keep them overnight.

Add $25 if 7-string AND Floyd type floating bridge.

 Adjust truss rod (acoustic or electric) and saddle heights (electric only), & tune.  (No string change)

Acoustic guitars that require saddle lowering will need a Basic or Complete Setup

Set neck relief (truss rod); string height (saddles), file high nut slots, set intonation and string change (strings extra).  This service is often viable for guitars that have received a complete setup within the past eighteen months and for most cowboy chord players.

Add $30 for Floyd-type floating tremolo systems.

ggNote that this service does not include addressing high or uneven frets or low nut slots. It does cover filing high nut slots and correcting slot angles & “sticky” G & D strings.

Note that this service does not include addressing high or uneven frets or filling and re-filing low nut slots.

The most complete, thorough guitar setup offered anywhere.  Includes acoustic guitars, and most floating bridge systems.  Even includes most nut work (not replacements or shims) 

Exceptions:  Simple jack wiring issues are only $40 (minimum bench fee).  Push-Pull systems, extra switches, etc. add $20.

Additional Fees:

• Pickup installations:  +$35 for each pickup
• Potentiometer installations: $25 each
• Switch installations: $25 each
• Active systems: +$35

Add the features of a USA Fender Stratocaster to any Squier or similar Strat:

• 2 extra pickup positions (7 total!)
• Treble bleed
• Tone control for bridge pickup

File frets level, usually below the point of the deepest wear (groove), if that would allow a minimum of 0.025 fret height afterward.  Then crown the now flattened fret tops so that they are rounded, allowing for clear, non-buzzing tones. 

Add $35 dollars for maple or any finished fretboards.

A Basic Setup is required with this service.

Nut Replacement $50:  Includes removal of old nut, if necessary; install new nut; file nut slots down to specs.  Does not include cost of nut.

Deduct $15 for 4 string instruments

Fill Slots $15: Includes 1st filled slot, others are $10 each

Shim Nut $25: Nut is raised with an aluminum shim, then slots are filed to spec.

Includes removal of old nut, if necessary; install new nut; file nut slots down to specs.  Does not include cost of nut. 

Nut Replacement $60:  Includes removal of old nut, if necessary; install new nut; file nut slots down to specs.  Does not include cost of nut.
